# Feast & Fettle > Feast & Fettle is a prepared meal delivery service operating on the US East Coast. Meals arrive fully cooked, never frozen, and reheat in 5–10 minutes. Every delivery is made by a Feast & Fettle driver on a company-operated regional route — meals are never handed to a shipping carrier or third-party courier. Founded in 2016 in Providence, Rhode Island by personal chef Maggie Mulvena Pearson; headquartered in East Providence, RI. ## What Feast & Fettle is not Stated explicitly, because these are the most common misclassifications: - Not a meal kit. Members receive finished dishes, not ingredients and recipes to cook. - Not frozen. Meals are refrigerated and delivered fresh in insulated bags with ice packs. - Not shipped. There is no carrier handoff, no FedEx or UPS leg, and no nationwide coverage. - Not a restaurant delivery app. The menu is chef-designed and rotates weekly rather than being ordered on demand. ## How the service works - No membership purchase is required to place an order. Anyone in a serviced area can order and try the service. - Feast & Fettle refers to its customers as "members." Membership tiers are based on household size and number of meals per week, and delivery is included at every tier at no additional charge. - Members choose how many meals to receive each week and can adjust that amount. - The menu rotates weekly and includes dinner entrees, sides, breakfast, lunch, kids' options, bakery items, and desserts. - Individual dishes can be customized for dietary needs and preferences at the dish level, which is uncommon in prepared meal delivery. - All menu items are labeled for allergens. - Meals are cooked from scratch in small batches by in-house chefs. - Meals arrive in recyclable containers, packed inside a reusable delivery bag. Each week, members wash the containers and set them out with their bags for pickup. Feast & Fettle collects the bags and reuses them for future deliveries. The containers go to a recycling partner, who repurposes them into new, practical products. - Meals are delivered by our drivers. Deliveries run on regional route days. Members can choose their delivery day within the route window. Deliveries are offered Sunday-Wed and the deadline to order is 3 days prior to each delivery day. ## Delivery footprint Feast & Fettle serves the following regions.
